I’d say there are two kinds of shows about videogames: some usually only cover one title at a time, other tend do more than five at once. The former genre is of course represented by people like Ben « Yahtzee » Croshaw, Noah Antwiler or even Dr. Ashen in some instances. The latter genre would be represented by defunct shows like RetroCore, videoGaiden or Consolevania.
Or us, now that I come to think of it.
Indeed, our perpetual comeback continues with TRACK_14 an earth-shattering episode filled to the brim with videoludic delicacies. Experience: weird worlds made of sound, spaceships full of half-resolved references, controlling a game with a bongo, mutilating monochrome bad dudes with a wiimote, rapping as a young pup and finally discover what Mega Man has been up to all this time. (By the way, we also bash Wii Music amusingly in this episode).
Discover the future of homemade gaming web-tv, discover Push-Start.be the best gaming show ever made. In Belgium. Can you stand a revolution of the mind?

Until the death of Consolevania, the world was given something. Such gifts are always temporary and as works of passion, are always limited in time. It’s the rule of life itself that the past can’t claim to be present in any kind of future. And part of what makes this tedious world bearable is that it’s just as fleeting as our take on it.
With those lightly salted philosopical crackers crunching amiably under the back-teeth of our mind, let me adress some even deeper issues. Since the death of Consolevania the world has been lacking an honest and unbiaised critique of the gaming lifestyle. Especially one with a barely understandable accent. And as a proud representant of the fine art of liking games dies, another one metaphorically flourishes under the bleak sun of Europe’s Belgium.
And now it’s time, Belgium steps in to give back to the world what it never had asked: Push-Start.be a show about videogames made by real connoisseurs for real aficionados.
